About Us

Antique Radio Parts & Resources

I manufacture over 350 reproduction radio parts, including rubber washers, grommets, and a wide variety of vintage radio knobs. Parts are available for brands like Zenith, Philco, RCA, Motorola, Westinghouse, Silvertone, and many more.

Tube radios are timeless. They glow with that warm orange light modern transistor radios just don’t have. Many can even be fitted with an input jack or Bluetooth module so you can enjoy modern music through a classic set.

Please note: I do not restore or repair radios — I strictly manufacture antique radio parts.

If you need repairs, search online for “vintage radio repair” or “radio club” along with your state to find someone local. If you're repairing your own radio, check the Parts page for what you need and the Links page for additional resources. For advice, the Antique Radio Forum is an excellent place to ask questions and connect with knowledgeable collectors.

Moldmaking & Reproduction Services

With thousands of molds already created, I may already have what you’re looking for. If not, I can create a new mold if you provide a good original part (mold creation fees apply).

Reproduced parts match the original exactly, so the condition of the original matters. Minor scratches can be buffed out, and small chips or cracks may sometimes be filled. If your part is badly damaged, you can still send it for identification — I’ll check existing molds for a match.

Moldmaking does not harm originals. No heat is used in the curing process, and great care is taken, though I cannot assume responsibility for extremely fragile parts. All molds become the property of Renovated Radios LLC. There is no charge if a mold already exists.

If I can’t help with your specific need, I’ll gladly refer you to someone who can.

Knobs, Color Matching & Finishing Details

Wood-Simulated Knobs

I produce simulated wood knobs made from brown plastic with a black grain finish for an authentic aged wood look. Collectors love the effect. However, they should be ordered in full sets to maintain color consistency. Mixing them with original wood knobs is not recommended unless the originals are very dark.

Color Matching

Custom color matching is available but done on a case-by-case basis. It’s time-consuming and often not cost-effective. Ordering a full set is strongly recommended for consistency and better value.

Knob Fastening

All reproduction knobs include proper finishing with a spring steel fastener or set screw. If needed, knobs can be modified to use readily available hardware without affecting appearance.

Labels

For push-button station labels, you’ll likely need to create your own using a graphics or spreadsheet program and a color printer to achieve the correct size and layout.

Shipping Delays

For various reasons, alternate delivery methods are not practical for my business. Only USPS First Class is available here. Due to the changes in the Postal Service, you may expect delivery times to be much longer than usual. If after 15 days, your package hasn't arrived, send me an email and I'll send you a tracking number. Once your package leaves here, I have no way of insuring that it gets to you in a timely manner.
