The knob uses a set screw (included with knob) to fix it to a shaft. The skirt size of the smaller one is the size of a dime, the larger one is the size of a quarter. The larger one is used on many cathedral and tombstone radios. 1933-1937. Used on Zenith battery radios. These have the letter "B" in the model code such as 4B131.
Large knob fits a shaft ending with a flat that takes up half of the shaft diameter. Small knob has a set screw.
Dimensions of small knob: 3/4" wide, 1/2" tall, 1/4" hole. Dimensions of large knob: 7/8" wide, 9/16" tall, 1/4" hole
